Deacon Blue will join Amy McDonald and the Strathclyde Police Pipe Band in a lunchtime concert to mark the announcement of the 2014 Commonwealth games bid on 9th November. As Glasgow eagerly awaits to hear if their bid beats sole rivals Abuja, Nigeria, a ticket-only crowd will be entertained with live music a the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow’s Merchant City.
