With the BBC opening its new building at Pacific Quay in Glasgow they will be broadcasting all their music programmes live from the building in the second week of September.

Ricky Ross will perform a solo set along with his friend and producer Davie Scott on Wednesday 12th September as part of the Iain Anderson show.

On Friday 14th Ricky will host the second of his "Ricky's American Tunes" shows live from Pacific Quay. The show will take the form of a song-writer's round, a la Nashville's Bluebird Café, and Ricky will be joined by three great fellow songwriters: Charlie Dore, Benny Gallagher and Beth Neilsen Chapman.

Ricky’s American Tunes starts at 8pm on 7th September on BBC Radio Scotland. The first show features an interview with Nanci Griffith.
